Some Like It Dry Groundcovers

Once Established, Prefer Dry Soil

Often times, dry soil is attributed to full sun.  Many of the plants listed thrive in full sun.  However, there are plants that not only prefer dry soil, but also prefer shade.  These plants are ideal for planting underneath dense shade trees where natural rainfall does not reach the ground.

NOTE:  Newly planted groundcovers require watering until established, typically after one growing season.
